Vehicle stolen: Fernwood Drive
Officers at 7 a.m. Sept. 28 responded to a Fernwood Drive home regarding a missing SUV.
Officers learned that during the overnight hours, someone entered the rear door to the house, which had inadvertently been left unlocked.
The perpetrator took the car keys from a nearby tabletop and used the keys to steal a Mitsubishi Outlander, which officers entered into police databases as stolen.
Suspected drugs: Center Ridge Road
A man called Westlake police at 11:45 a.m. Sept. 26 to report a man was down on the ground on Center Ridge Road near King James Parkway, and onlookers were trying to help him.
Officers arrived to find the 23-year-old Euclid resident leaning against a signal box and slurring his speech. As paramedics assessed the man’s condition, officers discovered he possessed suspected marijuana, syringes, another suspected narcotic, and other drug paraphernalia, according to police.
