MLB playoffs betting odds, picks: George Springer will get Astros going with home run vs. Rays ALCS Game 2

Hello, fellow bettors. We’ve made it through two rounds of the 2020 MLB playoffs in pretty good shape. The team-level bets show us with a 12-8 record, which, in baseball, that’s a feast. We’ve even hit on our bonus three times by correctly picking a player to homer. Time to ride the wave of success into the league championship series.

Neither team has lost so far this playoff season, so something has to give here. As evidenced by the line, most people believe the give comes on the Braves’ end. It’s the smart pick, that’s for sure. The Dodgers are the obvious best team in baseball this season and don’t have a glaring weakness. I have them winning this series.

College football odds, lines, schedule for Week 7: Alabama opens as favorite over Georgia at home

It is never too early to take a look at the lines for next week’s action, and the William Hill Sportsbook has released them for Week 7 action already. That includes the huge SEC showdown between SEC teams as No. 2 Alabama hosts No. 3 Georgia in Tuscaloosa next Saturday night on CBS.

While that’s going to be a great game between the only remaining undefeated teams in the SEC, it’s also the only game between ranked teams in Week 7. Though, I suppose if we’re only going to get one matchup between ranked teams, we might as well make it a couple of top-three sides.

There are some other games worth keeping an eye on, though. Particularly as some teams look to bounce back from a rough weekend, while other upstarts look to prove their worth. Let’s take a look at some of the bigger games for the weekend.
